"Identifications"/"Situating Russia"
Geliopark Center near Moscow
June 15-17, 2001
Program
Participants

Program

[General Information. This meeting is being hosted by "Situating Russia," which is a constitutive component of the international Collaborative Research Network on "Identifications." Participants include members of "Situating Russia" (Russians and non-Russians) as well as members of other research projects that make up "Identifications" (working on France, Southeast Asia, and China).

The sessions are arranged to address both the international and Russian aspects of the research being planned. Each session will have a designated "working language," but at all times people can speak the language of their choice, and translations will be provided.

The international, three-year Collaborative Research Network — and this meeting — are experimental and exploratory in character. This requires careful attention by participants and, frankly, their patience as we try to find solutions to problems as they arise.

Welcome to this hopeful enterprise!]
